Long time no see! I've been pretty busy with some stuff including training to improve my art and playing with my new Nintendo DS!

On my last journal entry I wrote that I would compete in the Swedish Manga competition Mangatalangen 2007. Maybe you wonder how it went?... well, I came in 4th place again!
Hmm, looks like you don't get very far with a humor manga...
But I'm going to upload the manga on my new site pretty soon. ^^

A long time ago I wrote that I would participate in a project. It was actually a manga school calendar!


I did the illustration for the month August (and the other months was made by different Manga illustrators). (By the way, I don't think the manga calendar can be bought outside Sweden. ^^ ; )

I'm so happy that my work is getting published and that people really like my art.
And that's not all! I got another project to work on! I won't say much but it will get published on January! XP

F.A.Q Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: Can you draw me a picture/ Do you take art requests?
A: Sorry, I'm very busy so I don't have time. ^^ ;

Q: Can I use one of your pictures?
A: It depends on which picture it is but contact me first and ask for PERMISSION and also give credit!

Q: Someone ripped/stole your art! What should I do?
A: See if the person gave me credit. If not or the person claims it's her/his art then contact me. You can also help me by warning that person. I appreciate that.

Q: What program do you use to draw?
A: I only use Photoshop 7.0.

Q: How do you do the lineart?
A: Sometimes I use the "pen tool" in Photoshop or my wacom tablet, but lately I've started to use ink because it's much faster. ^^


Clubs:

After three months of hard work I was finally done with my 15-page manga! I've sent it to the swedish manga contest Mangatalangen 2007 and now I just have to wait for the results....
On the last contest I became one of the ten winners, but not the three first (some people said that I came in 4th place! ^^ ).
But after a half year of intense training I really hope that I'll win this time!!

Now when I'm done with the manga I have the time to start working with my other illustrations! Look forward to them!!

Oh my, I got my first small illustration job! I'm not sure if I can tell what it was for because the project may be still a secret... But it'll get published 0_0! So happy!!
I really, really worked hard on the illustration, but in the end I think I could've drawn much better.... I should hit my head for just thinking like that! >_<
Well, I'm still young so I've a lot to learn before I become professional...

Hmm, I haven't uploaded something on DA for a long time... Yep, some new pictures are coming. But I'm pretty busy with other projects so I've barely any time to draw other pictures. Sorry -_-;

I've been feeling really bad these past few months. And because of that I just spend a very short time in front of the computer. Ghe.. I just feel like shit.... But drawing is the only thing that lighten up my mood.
